You can name any state school on your application. What matters is how likely an offer is, and that depends on the test and on each school's priority rules. Enter your home postcode to see grammar schools nearby and, where we have checked them, whether your home is inside each rule.

How this works
- Your browser downloads the list of postcodes for the first half of your postcode (for example "SW1A") from this site, and finds your full postcode in it. The full postcode never leaves your device and nothing is saved.
- Distances are measured in a straight line from the centre of your postcode to the school's location in the register.
- "Inside" and "Outside" show where your postcode falls for the rules we have checked for each school. "Note" marks a rule that applies to everyone or that we can't work out from a postcode.
- For schools whose details we haven't checked yet, we show the distance only.
